The Care Group has no paid staff. Administration and day to day work is carried out by volunteers whose reward is to support other members of the community who are less fortunate than themselves.
There is always a need for volunteers for driving. An outline of the duties of Volunteer Drives is given elsewhere on this site. (Just imagine: if you were 85 and had to go to hospital, with no friends or relations to help you, how pleased you would be to be taken by a friendly volunteer from Lymington Care Group!) If you feel you could spare time to make a contribution please leave a message on our answerphone, or send an email, and a co-ordinator will get back to you with more information and arrange a meeting.
